MATERIAL CHOICES

PLA, PETG or TPU: which material fits your part?

Choose around the part’s use: appearance, heat, load or flexibility.

PLA: display and prototypes

PLA offers many finishes for display pieces, organizers and early models. Tell us about heat or sustained load before selecting it. Matte and silk finishes describe appearance, not performance.

PETG: functional parts

PETG is often considered for holders and enclosures, with toughness and heat resistance relative to PLA. Suitability still depends on the filament, geometry, print orientation and expected load.

TPU: flexible parts

TPU suits applications needing grip, cushioning or bending. Grade and geometry affect flexibility. Describe how soft the part should feel and how it will be used.

Engineering plastics and resin

ASA, engineering plastics and resin offer other options for environment or detail requirements. We confirm geometry, availability and process compatibility before quoting.

Color and finish

Send a color reference and say whether an approximate match is acceptable. Include visible surfaces and finishing needs; available options are confirmed before production.
