Clear answers.
Before we make it.
The unusual project is welcome. These are the practical details that keep it moving.
Start a project →01Do I need a finished 3D file?+
No. A CAD file helps, but you can also start with a broken part, measurements, a photo, a sketch, or a description of the situation.
02Which files can I upload?+
STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP, STP, and ZIP packages up to 75 MB are accepted. Larger or unusual files can be transferred directly after contacting the studio.
03How does pricing work?+
Every project is reviewed for material, machine time, finishing, quantity, risk, and delivery. You receive a versioned quote and approve it before payment.
04Can I choose any material or color?+
Yes. Choose a preference or ask the studio to recommend the best fit. Specialty materials are confirmed against geometry, machine compatibility, stock, and lead time.
05How long is a quote valid?+
Standard quotes are valid for 14 days unless the quote says otherwise. Material availability and rush timing can change after the expiration date.
06Can you reproduce a part I did not design?+
Only when you own the file or have permission to manufacture it. Akidos may request proof and will reject obvious protected, unsafe, weapon-related, or unlawful projects.
07Do you offer pickup and shipping?+
Yes. Pickup is available by appointment at Hazel Ridge Plaza. For shipping, the available carrier services, price, and estimated transit time are shown before payment. Tracking appears in the order after the label is created.
08Can I track and reorder from another device?+
Yes. Sign in with the same email to see your project history, open private order details, review status, and request another print.
